His guidance supports clients in their relationships with their external professional advisors, with whom he frequently interacts.
His expertise includes tax and estate planning for executives, business owners, retirees, sports professionals and individuals with U.S. issues. He also assists individuals facing significant financial events (sale of business, financial windfall, retirement, job loss, moving to Canada, leaving Canada, etc.)
Prior to joining RBC in 1999, Prashant honed his expertise by working as a Canadian and U.S. tax specialist for two of the big four accounting firms in downtown Toronto.
Prashant is a Certified Financial Planner, Associate of the Society of Actuaries and member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Canadian Tax Foundation.

As Vice-President & Estate Planning Specialist, Thomas specializes in the preservation and enhancement of wealth. He employs a comprehensive process to assess your wealth management needs and recommend creative, tax-exempt insurance solutions to address them.
Thomas will create a tailored plan using insurance solutions to increase and secure your wealth, reduce the impact of future taxation and structure your estate so your wealth is transferred to your heirs in accordance with your wishes. Thomas evaluates various insurance offerings including life insurance, annuity and living benefits.
Thomas joined the insurance industry in 1984 after completing a university degree in economics. In 1995, he joined RBC Wealth Management and is one of the agency’s longest serving employees. Highlighting his commitment to the industry, Thomas also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.
Salvatore (Sam) provides comprehensive tax and estate planning for high net worth and ultra-high net worth families, business owners, executives, and professional athletes, offering specialized expertise in U.S. and Canadian crossborder tax and estate planning.
Sam is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and an Estate and Trust Practitioner (TEP) with over 25 years of professional experience. He holds an Honours Business degree and a certificate in Accounting at York University. He
also completed the CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Courses.
Together with your RBC advisor, Sam will help you explore many of the complex personal and corporate tax issues you may face as a high net worth individual or business owner, identifying potential strategies for wealth preservation and tax minimization, wealth transfer to the next generation, and estate and succession planning.
Leveraging his extensive experience with cross-border planning for both U.S. citizens living in Canada and Canadians with U.S. connections, Sam excels in
navigating the intricate landscape of planning for families with U.S. exposure, providing innovative solutions. This planning includes approaches to minimize U.S. estate tax exposure, facilitating the purchase of U.S. real estate, estate freeze planning for business owners with U.S. children, and gift and inheritance planning with an international scope. With a distinct background in providing guidance and expertise in these areas, Sam assists clients with understanding the nuanced impacts of U.S. tax regulations on conventional Canadian wealth planning.
Sam has authored many articles on cross-border topics published by RBC and has provided subject matter expertise
for interviews and industry articles. Prior to his career with RBC, Sam was a tax manager at Ernst & Young LLP in their
expatriate tax group working with cross-border clients on Canadian and U.S. tax issues.
As a Private Banker with RBC Wealth Management, Private Banking, Shannon provides comprehensive wealth management and financing strategies to high-net-worth business owners, executives, professionals and their families.
Based in Halton, Shannon works with a select number of clients across the GTA to address their often-complex banking, credit and wealth management needs by providing tailored seamless banking and financial solutions.
When necessary, she can access specialists from across RBC in order to work collaboratively to provide a complete range of complementary services, from investment management to estate and legacy planning, and from domestic and international trust services to sophisticated credit and leverage strategies to support individual short and long term goals.
Shannon offers an extensive background in client relationship to her role as Private Banker. She draws on over 20 years of experience within RBC, consisting of a wide range of Wealth Management and Commercial Banking backgrounds.
A graduate of Dalhousie University Rowe School of Business, MBA and a graduate of Ontario College of Art, Shannon has continued to deepen her knowledge and expertise with key industry designations such as Personal Financial Planner and Canadian Securities Course credentials from Canadian Securities Institute.
Away from the office, Shannon lives in Oakville, enjoys cycling with her family, spending time outdoors with her dogs, gardening and travelling.

Together with her team, Tamara develops deep personal relationships with her clients and their families. She addresses their often-complex banking, credit and wealth management needs by providing tailored, seamless banking and financial solutions. When necessary, Tamara accesses specialists across RBC to provide a range of complementary services from investment management to estate, legacy and tax planning. Tamara offers an extensive background in client relationships to her role as private banker. She draws on over 10 years of experience within the financial service and hospitality industry; she spent several years as a senior commercial lender with Royal Bank of Canada and Business Development Bank of Canada and worked in management positions at both Mortgage Network (USA) and Marriott Corporation (USA).
She is a Dean's list graduate from the Richard Ivey School of Business, studied at Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Italy, holds her IFC, and is working towards her Personal Financial Planning designation.
Away from the office, Tamara lives in Burlington, is a mom to two school-aged girls (Siena and Lyla), and enjoys running, biking, reading and travelling. Tamara is passionate about people and her community and volunteers as a hockey trainer for Burlington Barracudas Girls Hockey.
Angus Fraser brings 18 years of financial services experience to his role as Private Banker in which he delivers services designed for business owners, wealthy families, executives and professionals who prefer to work directly with a trusted advisor and team that understands their unique needs.
Together with his team, Angus is able to develop deep personal relationships with his clients and their families. He will collaborate with a variety of partners throughout RBC to create and deliver tailored, personalized investment solutions, banking packages and complex credit structures. As per each client's unique circumstance, these packages may include specialized wealth management planning, business owner planning, estate planning and tax minimization strategies. Through this customized experience, his clients are able to simplify the many details of their financial lives and focus on what matters most to them.
Angus has received many performance awards throughout his career in financial services. He is a recent winner of the exclusive Regional Performance Award in Private Banking and for three years in a row has been one of the top Regional Managers in Canada at RBC.
Angus and his wife Mina reside in Oakville and have 1 child John. Angus is a life-long Oakville resident having grown up in South East Oakville attending Brantwood, New Central, Appleby College and OT. He is passionate about his community and has been an active coach with the Oakville Rangers Hockey Club for the past 7 years and supports other local charities and causes.
